Our mission
PaxDerm™ exists because skincare became too focused on adding more, when better often means taking things away.
We built three products around what skin actually needs: cleanse, hydrate, comfort. Each formula is designed around the same lipid family found in the skin’s own barrier, with nothing added simply to make the product look, smell, or sound more appealing.
The result is a deliberately small system built around a simple idea: do less, do better.
What we left out
No perfume. No essential oils. No added color.
None of them improve the job a skincare product needs to do. They can make a product more appealing on the shelf, but they don’t make it better for your skin.
So we left them out.
What isn’t in a formula matters just as much as what is.
What it costs, and why
We don’t believe skincare should win because it costs less.
If price is the deciding factor, then a product has already lost the opportunity to earn its place through quality, performance, formulation, or experience.
PaxDerm is built differently. Every ingredient has a purpose. Every formula is developed around what that ingredient contributes, not how impressive it looks on a label. We don’t add ingredients to create a longer ingredient list, and we don’t cut corners to reach a lower price.
The goal isn’t to make skincare inexpensive.
The goal is to make it worth what it costs.
Where it's made
PaxDerm formulas are made in Raleigh, North Carolina, using globally sourced ingredients.
We produce in controlled batches rather than long continuous runs because smaller batches give us greater control over consistency and specification. Every batch receives a batch number and is checked against that formula’s specification before it leaves us.
Because where a product is made matters. But how carefully it is made matters more.
What stays the same
Formulas should improve as the science improves. When there is a meaningful reason to change a formula, we will.
What won’t change is the standard behind every PaxDerm product: fragrance-free, no added color, purposeful ingredients, and nothing included simply to make a label sound better.
If a product no longer meets that standard, it doesn’t stay on the shelf.
It gets pulled.
